Best Xbox One Games: Despite what most people think, some of the best Xbox One games are also some of the best console games ever.

Sony’s PlayStation has been more popular than Microsoft’s console in recent years. But it still works today, thanks to a few games that keep people interested in what Microsoft has to offer. Xbox One has a lot of games that everyone can enjoy. These games range from multiplayer shooters to games for the whole family.

Final Fantasy 15

Final Fantasy isn’t exactly a household name when it comes to Microsoft’s console, but we’re still happy because Final Fantasy 15 is one of the best RPGs of the year and one of the best Xbox One games.

It combines the huge open worlds of Western RPGs with Final Fantasy’s over-the-top anime absurdity to great effect, making a world based on the highways and byways of Middle America and filling it with dangerous monsters, huge crystals, and powerful magic.

Final Fantasy 15 sometimes feels like an odd mix of ideas, but when you put everything together – the strange world, the exciting real-time battles, and the likable characters who stay with you the whole way – it becomes much more than the sum of its parts. It turns out to be one of the best Final Fantasy games in a long time, and the wait was well worth it.

Cuphead

After some delays that might have made people a little bored, Cuphead is finally out and is already one of the best Xbox One games ever, especially if you like shooters. The art style comes from 1930s cartoons like Betty Boop shorts and Disney’s Silly Symphonies.

The gameplay is inspired by games like Mega Man, Contra, Metal Slug, and Gunstar Heroes. The levels aren’t very big, but that’s not what matters here. What matters is how hard it is to avoid bullets and figure out how the enemies move. Everything tests your skills and reactions in interesting ways and, most importantly, is fun to beat.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

One of the most immersive role-playing games ever made, with a unique, changeable story, endlessly satisfying detective-turned-hitman Contracts, and side quests that go deeper than the main campaigns of many other games.

The Witcher 3’s world is one of the few that deserves to be called a “world” because it is full of political intrigue, folklore, and nasty monsters to cut up.

All of that doesn’t even take into account the free DLC and expansion packs made by CD Projekt RED. The first of these, Hearts of Stone, is what sent this game to the top of this list. This game is beautiful, fun, and important, and we’ll remember it for a long time.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 may be slow to start and is the classic kind of game where it gets good after 20 hours, but when we say “Good,” we mean “Good.” its wide-ranging wild west opera builds a world of characters in a changing time and takes you on a journey with them as they face the new world taking over while fighting the old one that is still after them. Arthur Morgan is a tough hero with a lot of depth. He can grow a great beard and has a lot to do.

You can rob a bank, hunt animals, fish, play cards, and meet a lot of new people in this game. There is a lot to do. There is a story to follow, with some of the best highs and lows were ever seen in a video game, but there is also a huge, living world to explore and live in. Clear your schedules, because you’ll be playing this game for a long time.

Apex Legends

Battle royale from Respawn Entertainment came out of nowhere and took the world by storm right away. Apex Legends takes the best parts of Overwatch and adds them to the familiar “where we drop” gameplay of Fortnite.

The game’s default squads are made up of three Legend characters, each with their special abilities that let you specialize your role. As with Respawn’s Titanfall series, the first-person shooting is great, with a wide range of guns that feel great to use and get better with practice (yes, even the infamously weak Mozambique has its uses).

Like Fortnite, Apex Legends is free to play and has cosmetic microtransactions, so anyone can drop in and see if they have what it takes to become a Champion.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

After a short break, Assassin’s Creed Origins may have given the series a new lease on life, but Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has set the tone for what’s to come. It has a more interesting world and a more interesting story, and it tightens up all of Origins’ ideas and mechanics in general.

This game is even more of an RPG than the last one. There are many plot lines to follow, none of which we’ll give away. Set in ancient Greece, the game lets you travel around the islands and fight wars (including full-scale battles), date whoever you want, and build up either Alexios or Kassandra as an assassin.

Regardless of who you choose, you have a beautiful world to explore and a great journey ahead of you.

Grand Theft Auto 5

The most popular game of all time deserves to be at the top of the list. GTA 5 was already a great, brutal, and beautiful open-world game, but the Xbox One version is even better because the graphics have been cleaned up, there is a tonne of new content, and you can now beat up pedestrians from a first-person view.

With the addition of online Heists, which make the online part of the game even more fun, Rockstar gets closer to making a game world that is so big and full of different things that you could start to get rid of everything else. Which, now that I think about it, was probably always the plan.

Gears 5

It only took five tries, but the second most popular series on Xbox finally has a good story. Gears 5 gets rid of the boring J.D. Fenix in favor of the much more interesting Kait Diaz and tells a really interesting story that develops both its new main character and the always-present Locust threat.

Gears are still great at guns and blood, too. The Coalition’s third-person blaster has open-world hubs, different upgrade systems, and other modern features, but at its core, it’s an old-school cover shooter.

Gunfights are still exciting and fast-paced, and when you put the business end of your Lancer’s chainsaw to one of those super-ugly Locusts, it still turns them into extra-squishy chunks.

Fortnite

Fortnite is a monster that shows no signs of stopping. It has tens of millions of players and is one of the few games that is a real cultural phenomenon. Kids, celebrities, and footballers all floss like crazy, whether they’ve played the game or not.

Even more surprising is that the battle royale mode with 100 players wasn’t even the main game. It began as a live co-op crafting and survival game. Battle royale was added to make it more popular, but it ended up taking over the world.

Even though building and fighting are already strong parts of the game, the fact that it has seasons with constantly changing meta stories, secrets, mechanics, and items keeps it interesting even though the core gameplay stays the same.

Control

What a misleading name for a book! Even though you play a cool bureau director who can throw people around with her mind in Control, you never really feel like you’re in charge. In the great action-adventure game by Remedy, nothing is quite what it seems.

The Oldest House is the most interesting video game setting of the current console generation because it puts you in a strange, twisting government building. While the walls and ceilings of this labyrinth twist around you, Remedy puts you in tough battles where you can try out Jesse’s telekinetic powers in new ways.

As you float around the place like a young Magneto and smash enemies with office furniture, it feels like you’ve been thrown into an exciting TV show. One where the main character is the baddest pencil pusher ever.
