Career
Bert began performing stand-up comedy at Tallahassee’s Potbelly’s bar/nightclub. He sent an audio recording of his routine to agent Jason Steinberg, who invited him to New York City to witness many stand-up performances. Kreischer subsequently took a job working the door at Greenwich Village’s Boston Comedy Club and was given a sitcom deal by Will Smith’s production firm a few months after relocating to New York City.
