What’s the Release Date for Black Clover Season 5?

Since its launch on the Japanese television network TV Tokyo in October 2017, “Black Clover” has been moving at an outstanding rate. Its first two seasons, which aired in short succession in October 2017 and October 2018, had a meaty 51 episodes apiece.

Season 3 was scheduled to premiere in October 2019, however pandemic delays in April 2020 caused the show to be delayed until July of that year.

Constantly productive creators Studio Pierrot, likewise renowned for the seemingly immortal “Naruto” franchise, took over and ran Season 4 into March 2021. The major announcement may have been the upcoming “Black Clover” film, which, as reported by Polygon on March 28th, appears to have been the most recent information about Season 5.

There is also no official release date for this, however, HITC speculation predicts it will likely be released in early 2022. We estimate that this implies Season 5 won’t air until later in 2022 at the earliest, though, like Micky, we’re prepared to wager it’s on the way despite the current uncertainty. Who’s in the Cast of Black Clover Season 5?

Our pair of protagonists, Asta and Yuno have been faithfully depicted throughout “Black Clover” by voice actors Gakuto Kajiwara and Nobunaga Shimazaki, so we expect them to continue doing so in the upcoming movie and fifth season.

Noelle Silva, played by Kana Yki’s Kana Yki, appears likely to return as a potential love interest for Asta, given she has not yet fully expressed her strong feelings for him.

Without giving too much away for those who have yet to catch up on the series’ backlog, we’re fairly certain we’ll see more of Asta’s uneasy companion Leibe in the future, which means more screen time for Kenichiro Matsuda and Nobuo Okamoto.

What’s the Plot of Black Clover Season 5?

Supported by a massive manga series, it is certain that Season 5 of “Black Clover” and the film that will precede it will have an abundance of plotlines to choose from. In addition, the manga source material by Yki Tabata is still in production, giving room for development or diversion in the anime.

As The Cinemaholic commented, the unexpected revelation of Asta’s biological mother offers many opportunities for future exploration. The heroes are teetering on the edge of war with The Spade Kingdom, and Asta and Yumi’s allies, such as Princess Loropechika, remain hostage and in need of rescue.

And, as pointed out by Republic World, the greatest fight to come may be between the devils and the living world, which seems inevitable when Asta opened the barrier at the end of season four.

Undoubtedly, the heroes’ journey to accomplish their mutual dream of becoming the Wizard King will continue. In the meantime, the Clover Kingdom must be defended in a variety of magical ways.
