American stand-up comedian, actor, and author Brian Regan has an estimated net worth of $7 million. He is considered a “clean” comic because he does not utilize profanity or inappropriate humor in his routine.

Instead, he describes the trials and tribulations of everyday living, from his preferred popsicle flavor to delivering a parcel with UPS. He is an observational and sarcastic comedian who enhances his jokes and performances with self-deprecating humor, facial expressions, and body language.

Early Years

Brian Joseph Regan was born in Miami, Florida on June 2, 1958. He is among eight siblings. Dennis, his sibling, is also a stand-up comedian. Brian was a fan of Steve Martin, Johnny Carson, and The Smothers Brothers as a child and as an adult. Christopher Columbus High School in the Miami-Dade region of Florida was his alma mater.

He attended Heidelberg College in Ohio to become an accountant like his father. In college, he played wide receiver for the football team, and one of his coaches recognized how funny he was and urged him to try his hand at comedy.

He injured his knee playing football, realized he wasn’t good in accounting, majored in theatre, and chose to transition into comedy. During his final semester of college in 1980, he dropped out to pursue a career in stand-up comedy.

Personal Life

Brian began performing his stand-up routine in a small Las Vegas club in the mid-1990s. A stunning blonde woman seated in the front row captured his attention. Following the performance, he introduced himself to her. Her name is Kathleen Bieszczat. The couple engaged after a year of dating. A year later, on October 15, 1997, they wed. Amy, a journalist for CNW, attended their wedding.
