The third season of the American sitcom Cheers was first shown on NBC in the United States from September 27, 1984, to May 9, 1985.

The show was made by director James Burrows and writers Glen and Les Charles. Charles Burrows Charles Productions and Paramount Television worked together to make the show. A four-disc set of the third season is available on DVD.

There are big events that happened or could have happened that changed the show. Kelsey Grammer made his first appearance as the psychiatrist Frasier Crane.

Sam and Diane and Frasier were meant to be in a love triangle for the season. Shelley Long and Rhea Perlman were both pregnant.

Perlman’s pregnancy was written into her character (Carla Tortelli), but Long’s was kept secret so it wouldn’t affect her character (Diane Chambers).

This was Nicholas Colasanto’s last season as Coach Ernie Pantuso. He died in February 1985 from a heart condition that started in the 1970s and got worse during filming. This is why he missed a number of episodes before he died.

In Episode 5 of the new season of Cheer, the young guys talk about their lives. From what they said, this began when they were 13 and Harris was 19.

Harris admitted that he sent sexually explicit pictures to between 10 and 15 young men he knew to be underage.

When Will Season 3 of Cheers Come Out?

Netflix hasn’t said anything yet about whether there will be a third season. Still, since the last season of Cheers was a surprise for its fans, it’s possible that season 3 will also be a surprise.

Greg Whitely, who made the show, has been filming there for years. So, it’s probably safe to say that the third season is already being made.

If the docuseries follows the same release schedule as before, fans can expect the third episode on January 18, 2023. But it’s likely that season 3 will come out sooner than we think.
