James Gunn, Director Of Guardians Of The Galaxy, Responds To Calls For Chris Pratt To Be Replaced As Star-Lord
Chris Pratt is frequently seen on social media sharing family photos or touting his tight diet. Though some Internet factions have dubbed the actor the “worst” Hollywood Chris, several of his coworkers have defended him. One of those individuals has been James Gunn, the director of his Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 films, who has already spoken out in defense of Pratt. The Parks and Recreation veteran recently experienced further backlash online following his casting as Mario in Super Mario Bros. due to his lack of Italian ancestry. As with the Star-Lord recast, internet fans desired Danny DeVito’s replacement, but executives backed the actor, stating that he would be “phenomenal” portraying the video game hero.
