Netflix has not yet confirmed the fifth season of Cobra Kai. Co-creator Jon Hurwitz remarked on December 19 that filming for season 5 had completed, implying that it is currently in progress. Therefore, he is a fully-fledged figure with unfinished business, and there is no better time for him to come to the United States and join the struggle in the Valley than when Terry Silver is in the lead.
Because everyone knows that Terry Silver is a formidable opponent… If Cobra Kai is going to have Terry Silver on that side, it seemed excellent for season 5 to have Chozen and Silver on opposing sides. Chozen has a history of fighting to the death and is fearless; he also appears to be more skilled and a greater karate danger than Daniel.”
Regarding John Kreese, he is currently irrelevant. After the season, Silver engineered the arrest of his old friend by framing Kreese for the severe beating Silver himself inflicted on Stingray. With Kreese seemingly destined for prison, it is impossible to predict how his season will play out.
However, he has proven to be difficult to defeat in the past, so do not write him out just yet. How he reacts to being misled by Silver and to Silver threatening his former star pupil Johnny Lawrence is unknown.
Meanwhile, Johnny is on his trail of Miguel. Both characters will presumably end up in Mexico, where Miguel has traveled in pursuit of his father. A potential snag in Johnny’s effort to make amends with Miguel is the fact that he appears to be mending fences with his son Robby Keene. Robby will follow Johnny on his journey south of the border, right? It could bring the three characters one step closer to eradicating any animosity between them.
Less certain is the future of the students of Miyagi-Do, Eagle Fang, and Cobra Kai. Daniel has no intention of closing his dojo, thus it is safe to assume that the Miyagi-Do children will continue to practice karate. Cobra Kai is also expanding, however, it appears that they may lose some students during season 5.știindștiind After All Valley champion Tory Nichols overheard a conversation that indicated the tournament was rigged in Cobra Kai’s favor, she may be on the verge of defecting from the dojo, especially as she and Amanda LaRusso became closer throughout the season.
Eagle Fang will presumably continue training at Miyagi-Do, given that Johnny will be in Mexico for at least a portion of the season. Whether or whether any of the children opt to respect the agreement with Cobra Kai and cease all karate training is uncertain.
