Personal Life

Bell has been linked to a lot of Nickelodeon girls, including Amanda Bynes, who he worked with from 1999 to 2001. He was going to get married to Paydin LoPachin, but they broke up in 2016.

Bell gives money to the non-profit The Thirst Project, which raises awareness about the clean water crisis by teaching people about it. Drake goes out in public and holds concerts to raise money. Seth Maxwell, who came up with the idea, asked Bell to be the campaign’s face. Bell also gives money to Toys for Tots and Rockin’ A Cure, a charity that helps find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

In 2005, when Bell was 19 years old, he and a friend were sitting at a red light between Malibu and Los Angeles when they were hit by a car coming the other way. The car’s driver had fallen asleep at the wheel while turning, and his 1966 Ford Mustang hit Bell’s car head-on. Bell was hurt very badly, and he lost several teeth and broke his neck and haw. He had surgery and 70 stitches on his face, and his jaw had to be wired shut for two months.

In Glendale, California, at 2:45 a.m. in December 2015, Bell was arrested for driving under the influence after police saw him speeding and swerving. He was found guilty in 2016 and given four days in jail and four years of probation. He only had to stay in jail for one day because he was good, and he went to an alcohol education program.

Career in Acting

Drake started acting when he was five. His father encouraged him to do so because he saw how talented and confident Drake was when he spoke in public and how well he could imitate people he saw on TV. Bell first appeared on an episode of “Home Improvement” in 1994. Around the same time, he did his first national TV commercial for Whirlpool Appliances. After he was in the made-for-TV movie “The Jack Bull” in 2000, he was nominated for a Young Artist Award.

In 2004, when he appeared on Nickelodeon’s “Drake & Josh” with actor and real-life friend Josh Peak, Bell’s career took off. The show was written with them in mind. From 1999 to 2002, Peak was also a guest performer on “The Amanda Show.” Drake Bell has won nine Kid’s Choice Awards from Nickelodeon.

Drake has had small parts in several movies, including “Jerry Maguire,” “Dragon World,” and “Yours, Mine, and Ours.” Bell played Timmy Turner in “A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!,” a live-action TV movie that came out on July 9, 2011. He was also in the miniseries “Flying Tigers” and the web series “I Heart Vampires.” In 2012, Bell was chosen to play Spider-Man in the animated series “Ultimate Spider-Man.”

He later played the same character in “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes,” and he has also voiced Spider-Man in two Marvel video games. In 2014, he played Timmy Turner again in the third “Fairly Odd Parents” movie. He was in the movie “Bad Kids of Crestview Academy” in 2017.
