The Flight Attendant returns for a new season of suspense and adventure. Cassie, portrayed by Kaley Cuoco, has utterly upended her life. Now that she is a flight attendant and CIA agent, the stakes are higher than ever when she observes a bombing and must determine if someone close to her is responsible or if she is being set up.
Additionally, Cassie is now sober. With everything else coming apart, only time will tell if she can maintain her positivity. Even though this show’s second season has just begun, viewers are already crossing their fingers and praying for more, and we can’t blame them.
Is the Flight Attendant Coming Back for a Season 3?
This is the question on everyone’s mind, especially as the second season begins. Unfortunately, the answer is still up in the air (pardon the pun), as HBO Max has not yet decided whether or not to renew the show. However, it’s still very early, and if the show continues to perform well in terms of ratings, we see no reason why HBO Max wouldn’t bring it back.
The Flight Attendant Season 3 Release Date
Season 3 has not been officially announced, hence there is no release date. The first season began in November 2020, and HBO Max announced the renewal one month later in December 2020. Therefore, if season 2 is equally successful, there is a good probability that we won’t have to wait long to determine if season 3 has been officially approved.

What Would Season 3 Be About?
In contrast to season 1, which was based on Chris Bohjalian’s book of the same name, the following seasons are based on entirely new and unique concepts made just for television. Since there are no other books, we’ll have to wait and see what the show’s writers come up with for Cassie and her crew if there is a third season.
The Flight Attendant Season 3 Story
“Cassie Bowden lives her best traditional life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time,” reads the official synopsis. However, after witnessing a murder while on a remote assignment, she becomes caught in another multinational plot.”
In a brief interview, Cuoco provided some information on Cassie’s situation in Season 2. The previous Explosive Theory star informed us that after we chose to film a second season, we were quite clear that I didn’t want Cassie to become a fantastic government man overnight, and that we are also adding a tiny CIA asset on the side. Cassie goes to Los Angeles in her first year as a serious college student, and she makes all the wrong judgments on what you are not supposed to do. She rapidly realizes that it is not as simple as she believed.
The advertisement also revealed an important new aspect for Season 2. After Cassie’s friends express concern about her erratic behavior, she begins to fear that someone is attempting to frame her with many women who resemble her. In the trailer, we see Cassie confronting her doppelgangers, each of whom informs her that she is the version of Cassie who made better decisions in her life.
When Will We Find Out if the Flight Attendant Will Be Back?
The first season began in November 2020, and HBO Max announced the renewal a month later in December 2020. Therefore, if season 2 is equally successful, it’s likely that we won’t have to wait too long to learn if season 3 has been officially approved.
The Flight Attendant Season 3 Cast
Kaley Cuoco portrayed Cassie Bowden, Zosia Mamet portrayed Annie Mouradian, Griffin Matthews portrayed Shane Evans, Deniz Akdeniz portrayed Max, Rosie Perez portrayed Megan Briscoe, T.R. Knight portrayed Davey Bowden, Audrey Grace Marshall portrayed Young Cassie, and Yasha Jackson portrayed Jada Harris.
Additionally, a number of new cast members join the show in Season 2. Principal among them is Sharon Stone, who portrays Cassie’s mother Lisa in Basic Instinct and who, according to her official character profile, “would want to remain unpleasant” with her daughter. This does not prevent Cassie from knocking on her door in the new episode’s promotional clip.
Mo McRae (Rebel) joins the cast of the upcoming season as CIA officer Benjamin Berry, Callie Hernandez (Soundtrack) as bounty hunter Gabrielle Diaz, and JJ Soria (Gentefied) as her companion Esteban.
Season 2 of Flight Attendant features Cheryl Hines, Alanna Ubach, Mae Martin, Jessie Ennis, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera, and Shohreh Aghdashloo in recurring roles. The Season 2 video reveals that Star Trek: Picard’s Cabrera would portray Cassie’s romantic interest, while Feel Good’s Martin could be a fellow employee.
