Gleipnir is a very dark show about people who are also very dark. Before we talk about the story, let’s talk about the manga. Sun Takeda writes the manga and draws the pictures for it.
In October 2015, Gleipnir got its start. It was quickly turned into an anime show with the same name, which aired from April to June in the otherwise bad year 2020.
Gleipnir is no longer a series that everyone can read. It has a lot of different things going on, and it can be scary to watch. The cast seems to be psychopaths or just plain weirdos.
Some things aren’t fully covered in the first season, and there are a lot of creepily awkward moments. But without further ado, let’s get right to the important parts of Gleipnir’s mess.
What is Gleipnir about?
Gleipnir is a sad show with characters you don’t care about. Sun Takeda wrote and drew the manga and came up with the idea for it.
Kodansha, the same company that made AoT and Gleipnir, put out Gleipnir in November 2015. In 2019, a live-action version of the same name aired on Japanese TV. It was quickly turned into an anime series. It was turned into an animated movie in 2020. In the anime, Gleipnir is a light watch that may make some people uncomfortable because it has a lot of scary scenes and characters who are crazy. Gleipnir season 1 didn’t answer many questions, so fans are waiting for Gleipnir season 2 to find out what’s going on with all the exciting and confusing chaos.
Gleipnir Season 2 Release Date
At the moment, none of the Gleipnir references give a real date for when the game will come out. But if we had to guess, we think Season 2 of Gleipnir will come out in the middle of 2022.
We say this because there isn’t enough raw material in the anime for Gleipnr to make a series. A time length of one year gives the staff and the creator enough time to make a lot of what we, the fans, want.
We have thought about putting out Season 2 of Gleipnir in 2022. After that was done, there would be enough volume to fit everyone. Even though this is just a thought, we think there is a high chance that it will turn out to be true.

Gleipnir Season 2 Plot
Gleipnir is not for people who are easily scared. It tells the story of a man named Shuichi Kagaya who can really turn into a beast. Yes, you did hear that right. He can quickly change into this animal that looks like a stuffed toy, and he doesn’t even know why.
Besides having this power, Shuichi’s life is pretty normal. He would choose what no one finds out about his scary and snidely funny skills. So, just like every other story, this one also has a twist.
When he comes across a hot building, Shuichi’s life takes a turn for the worse or gets a lot stranger. He dresses up as his beast avatar and jumps into the fire to save a woman’s life. He drops and skips his phone in the method.
It’s a sign of things to come, since Claire, the woman he saved, shoots him down. She laughs at him about how good he is. So, Shuichi just says no to everything.
Taking a look at how season one ends and how the story continues in the next two volumes of the manga, season two will begin with Shuichi, Claire, and Tadanori Sanbe are going to find the alien ship that crashed on their planet and caused all this trouble. So, the journey to get there won’t be easy.
On their way, they will run into two guardians. One will be a sword-wielding warrior, and the other will be a strange woman whose skills come from reptiles.
Even though these battles will be very hard, they will eventually meet Kaito, who can use his powers to bring the dead back to life. Because of this, Kaito’s army of the dead will be almost impossible to beat.
