Hacks, starring Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder, has been renewed for a second season.
Smart spent a long time developing the part of the comic Deborah Vance. “I wanted to be a stand-up comic when I was a kid. I attended a Halloween party as Phyllis Diller while I was in middle school “Town & Country was informed. “When my agent showed me the script, I immediately thought, ‘You’ve crossed that item off my bucket list.'”
Now, Smart’s Vance is returning for another installment. Here is all we know about Hacks season two thus far.
Hacks Season 2 Release Date
HBO Max has scheduled the premiere of Hacks season 2 for Thursday, May 12.
Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, two of which will be released each week for four weeks.

Hacks Season 2 Teaser Trailer
The first teaser trailer for Hacks is unadulterated mayhem. The preview, set to Mama Cass’ “Make Your Kind of Music,” shows Deborah throwing objects at Ava (maybe she learned about the email? ), the two ladies shopping, traveling in a boat, and even garbage diving.
They exchange high-fives at one point, Deborah proclaiming smugly, “You’re welcome.” Deborah, never change.
