The Storyline of Season 4 of on My Block
In season three, the friends were taken by the Santos gang and told to find the mob’s founder, Lil’ Ricky. The season ended with a surprise two-year time jump, during which our favorite squad members stopped talking to each other and got busy with their own lives.
“I think it’s probably one of the most realistic endings we’ve had,” Capri told Entertainment Tonight about the end of season three. “People change and grow, and sometimes they change in different ways. You were a different person two years ago than you are now.”
Because of this, we think that a lot of season four will be about filling in the blanks left by the friends’ big change. The most important questions left unanswered by the flash-forward are how Spooky got out of the gang life, why Jamal is back to playing football, and what happened between Ruby and Jamal that made them stop talking.
On My Block Will There Be a Fourth Season?
One of the positive things is that! The fourth season of On My Block is now available on Netflix. On My Block season, 4 is under production, as was announced earlier this year.
However, Netflix made viewers perspire. For the official renewal, we were forced to wait around ten months.
On My Block season, 4 will be the series’ final season, according to Netflix, which also announced the renewal. Even though it’s not entirely surprising, it’s still a bummer.
We believed that this might be the end of On My Block because Netflix normally discontinues its original series after three or four seasons.
Where Did Season 3 of on My Block End?
After a whole season of looking for the neighborhood legend Lil’ Ricky, which ended with Big Bad Cuchillos’ mysterious death, Season 3 ended on a bittersweet note with Monse leaving Freeridge for a private boarding school. Ruby, Jamal, and Cesar were there to see her off, and they all promised not to drift apart.
Then, the show had a surprise ending that jumped ahead two years to show that the friends no longer talk. The mouse is at boarding school, where she is getting to know new people.
Jamal is back on the football team, but he doesn’t talk to Ruby because she’s still with Jasmine. Cesar and Spooky, on the other hand, appear to have switched places. Cesar is the leader of the Santos, and Spooky is living a quiet life at home with his girlfriend, who is expecting their first child.
Who is in the Fourth Season Cast of on My Block?
Sierra Capri, who plays Monsé Finnie, will be back for one more ride around Los Angeles, along with Brett Gray, who plays Jamal Turner, Jason Genao, who plays Ruben “Ruby” Martinez Jr., and Diego Tinoco, who plays Cesar Diaz.
Jessica Marie Garcia, who plays Jasmine Flores, Julio Macias, who plays Oscar “Spooky” Diaz, and Peggy Blow, who plays Abuelita, are also likely to play their roles again.
Abuelita has been a fan-favorite character on the show so far, and Deadline says that for the last season, she will join the main cast.
Even though the group tried hard, it looks like gang life will still be a part of season 4. So, it wouldn’t surprise us if Ada Luz Pla came back as Cuchillo, the leader of the Santos gang, and Gilberto Ortiz came back as Cute, the leader of the 19th Street gang. There might even be some new faces in the mix.
The Release Date for on My Block Season 4

The last three seasons all came out in March, but season four was delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic, which caused problems with production.
