The worst power outage in North Carolina was in the Sandals. There were still more than 10,000 people in Moore County on Monday morning.
Icy roads are blamed for the crash that killed two people on I-95 in Nash County. Latron ran off Williams Road and collided with several trees Sunday, NC Highway Patrol said. He and his passenger Katie Janta were killed in the crash.

Temperatures will be cool but mostly above Monday. However, it will be a windy day, with winds of up to 10 mph and gusts of up to 20 mph.
It makes it feel like it’s about 10 degrees colder than it actually is outside.
