Ladies and gentlemen, please turn on your desktops or laptops. The games section of AARP.org has been upgraded with brand-new game-play elements.

Play free online games today!
There are still all of the games you know and love, and more have been added. Our virtual arcade has received a facelift and user-friendly upgrades.

Here’s what to anticipate:

Enhanced Appearance and Navigation

The fresh, streamlined design will be the first thing you notice. Each day, one of our most popular games will be featured at the top of the website, along with three other suggestions. Simply click on the desired game and give it a shot.

Additionally, the new design makes it simpler to locate your favorite games. All of our game categories, such as Arcade, Card, Sports, Strategy, and Word, are listed on a menu that spans the top of the screen horizontally. Simply click on any to view all games within that category.

When new games are added, the “New Games” section will be updated to alert users. In addition, lists of popular and trending games will be included in this section.

You requested the ability to read complete rules for all games, so we included them. We believe you will find that the new games section provides a more direct way to daily entertainment.

Rankings and Recommendations

In addition to making our games area more aesthetically pleasing and easier to navigate, we’ve also made it more entertaining.

A new scoreboard to the page’s right showcases the highest-scoring users across the site. Competitive types — you know who you are! — will like seeing their name on the scoreboard, which can be configured to display the highest scorers per game or across all games, by day, week, or all-time.

The site will provide more recommendations based on the games you’ve already played. For instance, if you frequently play “Mahjongg Dimensions,” you’ll be presented with options like “Mahjongg Toy Chest,” “Mahjongg: Mom Jongg,” and “Mah Jongg Garden,” along with images, a brief description, and reviews from other gamers.

Remarks and Social Aspects

Yet another brand-new feature to the AARP games page is the Comment area. To make a comment on any game, you must log in with your username or sign up for a free account if you do not already have one.

Naturally, our entire gaming website remains free to all users, but AARP members receive a special perk. Select games will offer AARP members access to additional levels.

If you enjoy what you are playing, you can now let your friends and family know. You may now share your game recommendations via email or dozens of social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, and others.

Have Fun!

What are you waiting for, then? The brand-new AARP Games are live and awaiting your participation. Engage in play, and have fun!
