The release date for Stranger Things season 4 has arrived! At least for the first date. Yes, guys, the sixth season of Netflix’s retro-thriller series has been released, and we have everything you need to prepare for your binge session later.
As fans expected and anticipated, Stranger Things had already returned to the top 10 TV shows on Netflix in the United States and the United Kingdom; expect to see it at number one later today.
Vecna is the name of the upcoming season’s main antagonist, as revealed in the Stranger Things season 4 trailer. This is the most important piece of information moving into the final season. Vecna, unlike any adversary the children have hitherto encountered, appears to wield power the Upside-down and is issuing terrible warnings.
Eleven is powerless elsewhere in season 4 of Stranger Things, which cannot continue if we are to have any chance of surviving. Dr. Sam Owens, portrayed by Paul Reiser, has advised Eleven that her skills are crucial to “winning this war.”
Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) plays Victor Creel, whose surname is associated with a very significant (and very haunted) home in Hawkins.
Here is everything you need to watch the fourth season of Stranger Things online, including the first eight minutes of the new season. This season will be released in two parts, and after the first, Geeked Week will give us an entire after-show and D&D event from the ST4 cast.
Stranger Things Season 4 Episode Titles
Thanks to the IMDb website, we’ve known for some time that the title of the opening episode of season four is Chapter One: The Hellfire Club. The episode’s preview reads, “We’re no longer in Hawkins…” Are the kids adopting The Hellfire Club as their new name? Concerning the new characters? In a reply tweet, the Stranger Things Twitter account posted a photo of Dustin with the following message: “Heard the Hellfire Club is now accepting new members.”
Strangers Things Day saw the release of the remaining episode titles. In November 2021, precisely one year after the first episode title was unveiled, the second episode title was revealed. The complete list of episode titles is shown below.

When fans requested further episode titles in November 2020, the writers responded with Tick Tock, Mr. Clock, and You Snooze, You Lose. Later, they tweeted what appeared to be confirmation that the titles were puns intended to tease viewers, writing, “Episode 4: Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey,” before adding, “This is called amazing comedy.” We kind of enjoyed Tick Tock Mr. Clock.
Michael Ausiello of TVLine stated in February 2020 that season 4 could include nine episodes, one more than originally intended. The genesis story of a fan-favorite character may be told in one (or more) of these nine episodes, he added.

Stranger Things Season 4 Cast
We have a complete cast and character guide for Stranger Things season 4, so you can catch up. Expect to see the familiar faces of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Max (Sadie Sink), and Will (Will Poulter) (Noah Schnapp). Oh, and because we’ve waited so long for this new season, we’ve compiled a look at how the Stranger Things children have aged over the years.
Regarding Sink, she has told the press that the fourth season of Stranger Things will feature the highest stakes yet for the show. We are unsure if this indicates that Upside Down is becoming a global threat, or if it indicates something new.
Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), and Robin (Maya Hawke) will also return, along with Joyce (Winona Ryder, one of our picks for finest TV parents) and Hopper.
Also, there is no reason to believe that Erica (Priah Ferguson), Karen (Cara Buono), and Murray will not appear in season 4 of Stranger Things (Brett Gelman).
Variety has reported the addition of eight additional cast members, beginning with the horror icon himself: Robert Englund. Yes, Freddy Krueger’s creator will appear on Stranger Things. The report states that Englund portrays “Victor Creel, a disturbed and imposing man incarcerated in a psychiatric institute in the 1950s for a brutal murder.”
The remaining three new series regulars are Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd), Eduardo Franco (Booksmart), and Joseph Quinn (Catherine the Great).
Bower will represent Peter Ballard, an employee of a local psychiatric facility, while Franco will portray Argyle, Jonathan’s new best buddy, a pizza delivery guy who enjoys marijuana. Quinn? He is Eddie Munson, who will be discussed next.
Additional additions: Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones) portrays Dmitri, a Russian jail guard, and Sherman Augustus (Into the Badlands) Lieutenant Colonel Sullivan, who intends to eradicate Hawkins’ wickedness for good. Mason Dye (Bosch) is cast as Jason Carver, the wealthy student at his school.
Carver’s seemingly perfect life is about to be shattered, Hawkins, Indiana-style, by something mysterious. Nikola Djuricko (Genius) portrays the Russian smuggler Yuri.
During Geeked Week on Netflix, the Duffer brothers introduced four new cast members for season 4 of Stranger Things. Amybeth McNulty, the star of Anne With An E!, leads the group (another Netflix show). She portrays Vickie, a cool, quick-witted band geek who attracts the attention of one of our cherished heroes.
The remainder is:
Patrick, portrayed by Myles Truitt, is a basketball standout for Hawkins who has friends, talent, and a good life. until shocking occurrences push his life into a tailspin.
Regina Ting Chen is Ms. Kelly, a popular guidance counselor who cares deeply for her students — especially those struggling the most.
Grace Van Dien as Chrissy, Hawkins High’s lead cheerleader, and the most popular girl in school. But beneath the seemingly perfect surface lies a dark secret.
As for faces that might pop up from the past, Brenner (Matthew Modine), who “raised” Eleven in the Hawkins National Laboratory, is an important member of the Stranger Things lore. We’ll get to him in the plot section.
Stranger Things Season 4 Theories and Plot
Many believed that Dr. Martin Brenner was “The American” that the Russians said was locked in one of their base’s rooms (one of which allegedly contained a Demogorgon). However, the return of Hopper changes our minds.
The program will certainly require a plot element to lure the Byers family back to Hawkins from their new house.
The Duffer Brothers told EW that season 4 will “expand up a little bit…not necessarily in terms of scope or special effects, but in terms of allowing plotlines to take place in locations outside of Hawkins.”
This leads us to doubt that the show will conclude without a return to its origins.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, Sadie Sink revealed that her character Max will likely conceal the trauma of losing her brother Billy for some time: “I believe it makes sense for her, given how messed up their relationship was…death] [Billy’s still has a significant impact on the dynamic within her family. However, in typical Max form, she will not always let others know how she truly feels. You observe her simply acting that everything is alright, even though for her, everything has changed. She is in an entirely different emotional state of mind.”
Unresolved is the fact that Eleven has lost her powers and will likely spend time attempting to regain them. Will Brenner also be essential to this? According to a bizarre fan theory posited by Express.co.uk(opens in a new tab), Eleven is Hopper’s daughter. This is pure guesswork and at times appears to be a reach, so do not bet on it just yet.
There are even rumors of a full season taking place in The Upside Down, or at least focused on Hopper’s journey to escape the terrifying world.
Finally, let’s interpret the title of the first episode of the fourth season of Stranger Things:
