The first Street Fighter 6 beta took place from October 7 to 10, and the second beta ran from December 16 to 19. The roster was limited to just eight characters, with the most recent addition being Kane.

The biggest change in the second beta is the option to reduce input delay for players by using 120-hertz displays, though Capcom says this option should affect those using 60 Hertz Displays as well. Other than the roster and stage selection is exactly the same as the previous one. 

We were fully expecting to see in June month for another beta phase before the game ships, so stay tuned as Capcom announces the dates for the third beta in the upcoming week.

A new Street Fighter 6 beta is rumored to be coming soon, and an announcement is likely during the Street Fighter 6 Showcase on April 20th. However, it is unlikely that the entire cast will be playable.

Where To Watch Street Fighter 6?

Capcom has announced a Street Fighter 6 showcase to be hosted on YouTube on April 20th at 3 pm PT / 6 pm ET / 11 pm GMT.

The showcase is said to be just over 30 minutes long and will be presented by none other than Aka Young, Lil Wayne, Tunchey, and Aka Weezy.

The reveal tweet showed several alternate costumes for some of the characters in the video, including a new outfit for Kimberly.

Street Fighter 6 features crossplay between Xbox, PC, and PlayStation. If the last two beta periods are anything to go through the players have the option Unable to cross-play in-game.

Drive impact – Make a powerful strike that can absorb the opponent’s incoming attack. If you use Drive Impact on an opponent trapped in the corner, you can force your opponent to hit the wall, even if they block the attack. Drive Impact costs a drive stock.

Drive Parry – Negate the damage of your opponent’s attacks and renew some of your Drive gauges if performed successfully. Timing your drive parry to land a perfect parry just before the opponent’s attack creates a slow-down effect to land a punishing combo. Drive Parry continually depletes your Drive gauge depending on how long you’ve been in the Parry position.

Drive Reversal – Blocking the opponent’s attack, performing a drive reversal to counterattack, and dealing minor damage while pushing the opponent back. Drive Reversal Costs Two Drive Stocks. 

Drive Rush – Move after a drive parry or a cancelable normal attack to create a devastating combo. A Drive Rush from a Drive Parry costs one  

Drive stock has the same technique cost when performed with a normal attack.

Overdrive Art –  This Art was similar to the EX Special Moves system when it was used in the previous Street Fighter games. Press two buttons of the same type instead of one to perform a stronger version of a special move. Overdrive Art Costs Two Drive Stocks.
