Will There Be The Marked Heart Season 2?
Netflix has not yet announced a season 2 renewal as of this writing (April 22). This is unsurprising given the show’s recent release on the streaming service. Netflix will almost certainly wait a month or two before deciding on the show’s fate. This will allow the streamer sufficient time to ascertain the viewership numbers. If enough people watch the first season, Netflix may approve a second. Of course, other criteria like production expenses come into play, but viewership numbers play a substantial role in renewals.
There is undoubtedly more story to tell in light of how the first season concluded. Thus, it is entirely up to Netflix. Fingers crossed for a second season renewal of the suspenseful series!
The Marked Heart Season 2 Release Updates
No official release date has been set for The Marked Heart season 2, as the show has not yet been renewed. However, assuming the show is renewed quickly, the second season could premiere in early 2023. Netflix publishes new seasons of its original programming on a year-to-year basis. Given that season 1 premiered in April 2022, the next year would be April 2023.
Bear in mind that the show would need to be renewed by this summer to air in early 2023. It will require time for filming and editing. Although production on the first season was brief, the show spent considerable time in post-production.
We’ll keep you posted on all things The Marked Heart season 2, so stay tuned to Netflix Life!
How Many Seasons of the Marked Heart Are There?
The new original series has only one season, which is currently streaming on Netflix. The first season consists of 14 episodes that run between 38 and 51 minutes.
Who Might Appear in The Marked Heart’s Season 2?
When the series returns, the bulk of the original cast members will likely resume their roles. Among them are Michel Brown as Simón, Ana Luca Domnguez as Camila, Sebastián Martnez as Zacaras, Valeria Emiliani as Samantha, and Juan Fernando Sánchez as Juan Fernando Sánchez (Sarmiento). Margarita Muoz, who played Valeria in Camila’s visions and memories, may reprise her role.
If the series is renewed for a second season, Mauricio Cujar (Braulio Cárdenas), Moisés Arizmendi (Mariachi), Valeria Emiliani (Samantha), Julián Cerati (Tomás), and Jacqueline Arenal (Greta Volcán) may also appear. New cast members may be added to a potential second season, as new characters are very certain to be presented to keep the plot fresh.
What Could Be the Season 2 Plot of the Marked Heart?
Simón finds the true identity of Camila in Season 1. On the other hand, Camila discovers how Zacarias came to possess the heart that now pumps in her chest. As a result, she makes desperate measures to abandon her husband, including changing her name. Camila admits at the season’s finale that, while she remains in love with Simón, the moment has come to let go. After an emotional farewell to Simón and his two children, she goes for a new life. Zacarias, however, receives a video showing Camila in a different location in the season’s final minutes.
Zacaras’ reaction to Camila’s video could provide an intriguing springboard for a possible season 2. Will Zacarias and his henchmen capture Camila? Additionally, Simón and Camila’s feelings appear to be far from settled. As a result, it may only be a matter of time before the two reconcile, even if at a hefty cost to both. All of this, however, will remain a mystery until the series returns for a second chapter.

Season 1 Episode Recap: The Marked Heart
Simon’s wife is slain so that her heart can be harvested and transplanted into Camila, the wealthy businessman’s wife. Simon seeks vengeance by infiltrating and attempting to sell his organs in the deadly realm of organ trafficking. Throughout his frenzied search for him, he falls in love with Camila.
Is It Worth a Watch?
We’re not sure we’re comfortable watching a telenovela that combines vast characters, several unexpected occurrences that are somewhat fanciful, and personal relationships that look horrible with a plot that involves murder, organ trafficking, and retribution. Leonardo Padrón has encapsulated all of this in The Marked Heart (unique title: Pálpito), and it can feel overwhelming at times, even for soap lovers.
The key factor that gives us the squinches is that the first several episodes will focus on Valeria attempting to escape the seemingly insurmountable, but ultimately failing. It cannot; even if she is still alive, there is no obvious reason for Simón to pursue Zacarias and the dealers who labeled her as his significant other.
There is undoubtedly intrigue in how they designated Valeria; we assume that Zacarias viewed Camila’s images of the long-distance race, investigated the results, and proceeded from there. As a result, Camila will almost certainly feel charged when she learns the truth.
In any case, the show is laying the groundwork for the three central characters to diverge and eventually rejoin in various combinations. This suggests that Camilla and Simón will eventually interact honestly, which causes us significantly more heebie-jeebies.
Nonetheless, the absurd dramatizations in this first episode, along with some favorable plotting that gets things started, caused us to feign exasperation. Zacarias targets Valeria in some fashion and gets things started immediately following Camila’s collapse. Camila appears to be in good health enough to leave the medical clinic and transfer her long-distance race images for a presentation, despite the chance that she was near death.
Valeria’s abductors neglected to switch off or dump her phone, so Simón tracks her using the following application. At a predetermined location, Mariachi and his men assassinate the officers, and Simón stumbles onto the scene when no one else is there.
It’s merely overkill, and given the dull subject matter, it could have been handled slightly more honestly and been a significantly more affecting presentation. We simply do not believe that weddings with a dim theme and telenovela style will succeed in the long run.

It was officially released on the tvN network from 6 February to 28 March 2019 and later launched on Netflix. Thus, if we look for a potential of a second season, we can anticipate Touch My Heart season 2 sometime in 2022. Is there going to be a second season of touching your heart?
It was officially released on the tvN network from 6 February to 28 March 2019 and later launched on Netflix. Thus, if we look for a potential of a second season, we can anticipate Touch My Heart season 2 sometime in 2022.
As the season draws to a close, Camila admits that, despite her feelings for Simón, now is the right time for her to continue. She withdraws for another existence following her farewell to Simon and his two children. Regardless, in the season’s last minutes, Zacarias obtains video of Camila, possibly in another area.
Zacaras’ answer to Camila’s video could serve as an intriguing prelude to a possible season 2. Are Zacarias and his associates capable of locating Camila? Additionally, it appears as though Simon and Camila’s feelings are far from resolved. Thus, it is unavoidable that they would accommodate, regardless of whether it comes at a high cost to the two of them. However, we won’t know anything about all of this until In One Beat comes to Netflix for a Season 2!
