What Could Happen in Season 2?
Coach Marvyn Korn was kicked out of the NCAA because he threw a chair at a referee, so he offers to coach at Westbrook, a private high school for girls only. His rough style turns athletes away. When Emma’s mother gets a job in Italy, they move in together. Korn’s rough exterior softens over time, and he gets along better with other people.
Westbrook Sirens play better, and UC Santa Barbara notices (UCSB). When he gets the job offer, the Sirens are getting ready for a big game against the Carlsbad Cobras. After the Siren playbook is lost, Coach Korn has to come up with new plays, like the “Sacrifice Play.”
Coach Korn is staying at Westbrook instead of going to UCSB. He tells them before the game, “I went out to make a new playbook for the team, but I ended up making one for myself.” He suggests playing without fans because the Sirens’ game was thrown off by tricks. With the Sacrifice Play, Mouse wins a close game.
After beating Carlsbad in the last game of Season 1, Westbook will move on to Division II. This will bring in new teams, new players, and tougher competition. Can Division II stay?
The next coach at Carlsbad, the team that the Westbrook Sirens beat, will be Assistant Coach Holly. That means he might have to fight Westbrook again, which is risky for everyone.
Who Is Expected to Return in Season 2?
The writer and producer said, “John Stamos’s talent, especially as Coach Marvyn Korn, has touched so many hearts.” Stamos will be back for Season 2 of Big Shot, and it looks like the following players from Season 1 will join him on the court:
- John Stamos as Marvyn Korn

- Louise Gruzinsky is played by Nell Verlaque
- Destiny Winters is played by Tiana Le
- Keala Settle Assume the role of Christina Winter
When Is Big Shot Season 2 Coming Out?
After the first season of the show ended in June, fans worried that the show had been canceled and was waiting to hear if Season 2 would be made. Still, Stamos didn’t give up hope.
Stamos should not go back home so soon. Disney told us back in September that the show will be brought back, which is good news.
In April 2021, the pilot episode of Big Shot’s first season aired, and just four months later, a second season was approved. For now, we can probably expect the second season to start in the fall of 2022.
Even though there hasn’t been any official confirmation yet, it’s possible that the next season will also have ten episodes, just like the first season did. The show is made by Tommy Burns, Jacquie Walters, and P. Todd Coe, and it is distributed by Disney Platform Distribution.
